Wise Integration is designing a new generation of universal, low energy chargers. With more than 75 million devices, charging is becoming an economic, environmental (40 million tons of waste per year) and energy issue (30 Gwatts lost each year). Current charging systems are both too numerous and not very energy efficient. Thanks to a major technological innovation, combining GAN ICs and an e-DAB architecture, Wise Integration aims to bring to the market a new generation of universal USB-C chargers PD, plus petits, dégageant moins de chaleur et surtout bien plus efficaces, à des coûts compétitifs.
Its Power GaN integrated ASIC device could eventually improve the efficiency and compactness of all power supplies. The young CEA startup is currently working on a demonstrator for a 100W C-type USB power supply with only 3% energy losses.
Inventing tomorrow's electrical outlets, "USB-C" capable of delivering high power, without overheating, which will be able to power a large part of our electrical devices
The Tarmac is the incubator for technological start-ups created by inovallée in 2014. With a "human first" approach, we lead a community of entrepreneurs at the heart of two buildings where passionate men and women share their experiences to invent tomorrow's world together.
At the heart of the innovation ecosystem, the Tarmac is labelled :
